Uzbekistan has a varied landscape that includes a rolling sandy desert, mountains along the border with Tajikistan, and the Aral Sea in the west. The government system is a republic under authoritarian presidential rule, with little power outside the executive branch; the chief of state is the president, and the head of government is the prime minister. Uzbekistan has a mixed economy in which there is limited private freedom, but the economy remains highly controlled by the government.
The Feeling of being in Asghabat Airport, Turkmenistan for the first time, was the best!!! After sitting in the Transit hall, we get back into our plane (Turkmenistan Airlines). This was on 29/June/10, we arrived on daybreak and by the time we got back out the airport to the aircraft, Im telling you it really got Hot! The kind Turkmen women at the end told me to stop filming. Another greeting I got was, when touching down in Turkmenistan my mobile network greeted me in Turkmenistan, telling me the costs of calling although the airport had a sign "no phones or bad consequences"...and from my British phone network it changed to (438 01), a Turkmenistani network even though I didnt have to get an foreign sim.
